This has been a challenging winter for imaging so when we finally got a pleasant clear evening I pulled an all-nighter. I’d set my gear imaging a new target, then head to bed for a couple of hours, get up, select a target further east, and do it again. On this night M13 was the last target of the evening and when I went outside to secure my gear there was a soft glow in the east of the approaching dawn and a beautiful last-quarter moon hanging in the south. What a beautiful night!
