M77 – Spiral Galaxy in Cetus, LXD75 SN6, DSI Pro II

RGB: 10x60sec, saved as FITS
Guide scope: Meade DSX-90, DSI Pro, and Envisage
Software: Envisage, Autostar Image Processing, Photoshop

This proved to be a challenging little galaxy to capture; the core is very bright, just short of saturating, while the arms are very faint requiring a lot of stretching to bring them up. This should be a neat object visually, I suspect it looks like a tiny planetary with a touch of nebulosity surrounding the nearly stellar core. It’ll be fun to find out.
